The mission of the Parents’ Association is to enhance the sense of community at the school. Activities of the Parents’ Association include:
- Annual Book Fairs, which generate funds to enhance our school libraries
- Luncheons
- Family events, such as the fall Welcome-Back Picnic, the Year-end Picnic, Community Night at O'Natural's in Acton and the Fall Fest
- Sponsoring and producing parent education events and social events
- 30th Anniversary Gala in April 2007, a wonderful evening of festive celebration
The Parents’ Association welcomes the participation and input from parents, grandparents, staff and children. There are many different ways to get involved at Oak Meadow:
- become a Room Parent
- attend meetings, social events and gathering to get to know other parents and faculty members
- join a committee and help plan an event
- volunteer in your child's classroom, in the school library or in another area of interest
