Upper Elementary Journeys to Nature's Classroom

Posted: September 16, 2013

On Monday, September 16, Upper Elementary students packed up the buses and headed off on their annual trip to Nature's Classroom in Becket, Massachusetts. Field trips are an integral part of the Upper Elementary curriculum, and this year Nature's Classroom serves as their inaugural trip. Throughout the week, students will explore the world around them, taking the phrase "Nature's Classroom" quite literally on the 1,000 acres of land they have before them. From beaver dams to "enchanted forests," students explore various outdoor sites while strengthening their relationships and gaining confidence for the year ahead.
