Oak Meadow alumna Samantha Broderick OMS ’08, currently a sophomore at New York University studying music education with a vocal concentration, has recently been selected as a soprano singer for the World of Color Honor Choir. The Honor Choir’s performance of ‘Glow,’ a choral piece written by Grammy-winning composer and conductor Eric Whitacre, has been made part of this year’s World of Color Winter Dreams show at Disney California Resort, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Calif. According to the website, “The World of Color Honor Choir is an online project that will create a user-generated choir.” Essentially, the Honor Choir is a virtual choir comprised of hundreds of singers from around the country to help honor the holiday season at Disneyland.
