Oak Meadow offers its students a variety of extracurricular programs to promote personal growth and cultural awareness. Community service projects encourage compassion and civic responsibility. Pursuits often enhance academic learning. Science Fair - Students in grades three through eight participate in the science fair in March. The fair is held in the daytime as well as the evening to accommodate fellow students, families and guests. Ski Club - For six Monday afternoons in January and February, students in grades one through five bus to Nashoba Valley Ski Area in Westford, MA while grades six through eight go to Wachusett Mountain Ski Area in Princeton, MA. Boston Symphony Orchestra - Grades one through eight attend special afternoon programs of the symphony once a year. UMass Lowell Center for the Arts - Students attend various stage performances that enhance school studies. Community Service - All grades participate in community service with a focus on benefiting the wider community. After School Programs - Offerings include: Build-A-House, Investment Club, Music Lessons, Drama, Soccer Clinic, Karate, What’s Cooking, Mandarin Chinese, Slam Dunk, and Yoga. Click here to learn more. School Trips - Trips include: Nature’s Classroom (grades 4-6), Leadership School (grades 7-8), New York City (grade 6), Crow Canyon (grades 7-8). Before- and After-Care - Before-Care is offered from 8:00 to 8:20 AM. After-Care is offered from 3:40 to 5:30 PM. Fun Days - Supervised Fun Days are offered from Tuesday through Friday during February and April vacations.
