The Oak Meadow community is comprised of students, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and an extended community of alumni and friends.
Our diverse and far-reaching community comes together around common goals: a desire to foster academic excellence through the Montessori philosophy; an awareness and celebration of our cultural diversity; and a vested interest in nurturing children’s spirits.
At the heart of our community is Oak Meadow’s Parents’ Association (OMPA). Oak Meadow families volunteer as library volunteers, room parents, and with community service projects, among many other things. OMPA members are essential to the planning, organization, and running of many of our annual events, such as Oaktober Fest, the Cookie Swap, Cultural Heritage Fest, and Spirit Week to name a few.
All parents and caregivers are automatically members of OMPA. There are many levels of involvement available for those who wish to volunteer their time. For more information, contact OMPA Board Chair Kristen Rabinowitz.
