Board Members 2012-2013

Barbara Brady has been an Oak Meadow parent since 2005, and has volunteered in a wide variety of activities at the School. She joined the Board of Trustees in 2009. Barbara was instrumental in the planning and production of Oak Meadow's Peace Garden. She is the Chair of the Facilities Committee, and serves on the Executive Board, Financial Sustainability Task Force, and Marketing Task Force. Barbara has a BSAD from the Architecture Department and a Minor in Economics from MIT. She is a founding partner of Devres Brady Architects in Istanbul, Turkey, has partnered with academia and the public sector to develop a number of pilot projects for sustainable development in Turkey. Barbara Brady is also an active civic volunteer focused on housing and development in her hometown of Harvard.

Buck Chintamani first joined Oak Meadow as a parent in 2002.  He has a daughter in Upper Elementary and a daughter in Middle School. He currently serves on the Strategic Planning, Finance, and Development and Advancement committees. Buck has extensive professional experience in marketing and business development in high tech companies.  He holds a degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Buck has volunteered at Oak Meadow in numerous capacities including his ongoing commitment to the Upper Elementary Nature's Classroom and the Middle School Camp Chewonki.

John Collins has been an Oak Meadow parent since 2007. He is the father of two Oak Meadow students (Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary). He has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2009 and serves as the Chairman of the Audit and Risk Management Committee. He is the Director of Revenue Accounting at Aspen Technology, Inc. Mr. Collins earned a B.S. in Accounting from Babson College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and spent seven years auditing high technology companies before moving into private industry.

Jessica Donohue is a parent of twins in the Lower Elementary program. Jessica joined the board in 2012 and currently serves on the Finance Committee. She is an economist, currently the Head of State Street Associates at State Street Global Markets. She has experience teaching several undergraduate and PhD level economics courses at University of Minnesota and Brandeis University.

Beth Dube has been a parent at Oak Meadow since 2004. She has a son in Lower Elementary and a son in Upper Elementary.  A former Vice President at Newbury Comics, Beth developed and implemented marketing and corporate strategy for this retail venture. Beth currently serves as Chair of the Committe on Trustees, Development and Advancement Committee, and the Annual Fund, and as Co-Chair on the Marketing Task Force. She has a clear understanding of Oak Meadow's mission and has demonstrated her commitment to the school through her regular presence and work here.

Lyn Goldman is the Chair of the Board of Trustees for the 2012-2013 school year. She previously served as Chair of the Board in 2008-2009 and has been a Trustee since 2004. She has two children at Oak Meadow, a daughter in Upper Elementary and a daughter completing her eighth year in Middle School. Lyn's professional years were spent in business development and event planning working with a management consultant firm and a start up company. She holds a BA and is Elementary Ed. Certified.

Vivek Gupta has more than fifteen years of industry experience working with a variety of technologies and industries. Vivek currently serves as Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee and is a memeber of the Marketing Task Force. He has worked in the media, financial services, biotechnology, manufacturing, energy, and consulting industries. Hiswork has ranged from developer to CTO. Vivek is currently working as an Engineer at AMD in Boxborough. He received his BS in Math/Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and his MS in Computer Science from Indiana University in Bloomington and is working on his Doctorate in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell.Vivek spends his free time with his wife and daughter, taking photographs and working on the yearbook at Oak Meadow.

Tom Hotchkiss has a long history at Oak Meadow, having served a 9 year term on the Board, including several years as clerk and one year as chair.  After a required one year break from the board, he is currently serving his fourth year as a returning trustee.  Tom and his wife Patti have two sons who are Oak Meadow alumni - Thomas '06, and Nicholas '10.  Tom currently chairs the Marketing Task Force, and is a member of the Audit and Strategic Planning committees.  Tom has BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from the University of Connecticut, and has over 25 years of business, technical, management and marketing experience in the technology industry.

Lori Locascio is an attorney who has a son in Upper Elementary. Ms. Locascio participated in all of the strategic visioning retreats and was the communications coordinator for her strategic visioning study group. She is currently serving on the Committe on Trustees and the Facilities Committee. She has experience as an officer with several alumni associations at MIT and Northeastern Law School. Ms. Locascio is an active volunteer in her son's classroom as well as in her church community.

Bill Perrine, Head of School and ex-officio board member, joins Oak Meadow as a seasoned educator and administrator. Most recently he spent 10 years as head of the middle school at Friends Academy in North Dartmouth, MA. Prior to Friends Academy, Mr. Perrine served as teacher, coach, and discplinary dean at the Bancroft School in Worcester, MA. He also served as head of the Math Department at the Town School for Boys in San Francisco. Mr. Perrine holds a BA from Hamilton College (NY), an MA in Teaching (mathematics) from the University of San Francisco, and has completed the Fellowship for Asipiring Heads and the Institute for New Heads with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).

Mike Princi serves as the Treasurer of the Board, as well as Chair of the Finance Committee and Financial Sustainability Task Force. He is the father of two Oak Meadow students. Mike is the founder of a boutique business advisory firm. He earned an MBA from The Johnson School at Cornell University and a BS in Operations Research from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Jamie Ross-Cory has been an educator for over 15 years. New to the board in 2012, she serves on the Strategic Planning Committee. Jamie is currently the Director of Student Support and the Language Arts Coordinator for students in K-8 at Friends Academy in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Jamie was also on the advisory board that helped to launch the Sally Borden School at Friends Academy which is a fully integrated school within a school for bright students with language based learning differences.

Laura Stockfisch is an Oak Meadow parent of twins in Lower Elementary. She is a Senior Industrial Hygienist and Project Manager with over 15 years experience providing a range of environmental consulting services to private and public sector clients. Ms. Stockfisch has served as room parent, library volunteer, new parent mentor, and was the communications coordinator in her strategic visioning study group. She has enjoyed volunteering her time in the classroom and at school wide events.  Ms. Stockfisch currently serves Oak Meadow on the Facilities Committee and the Committee on Trustees as well as the Marketing Task Force.

Anita Tarantino has two daughters at Oak Meadow in the Upper Elementary and Middle School programs. She currently serves on the Committee on Trustees, and the Development and Advancement Committee. She helped to establish and direct the Library Committee, is a past member and Chair of the Annual Fund where she started the Montessori Madness Tournament. Anita has a professional background in software development, most recently at Monster.com.

Rachel Tadmor first joined Oak Meadow as a parent in 2002.  She is the founding partner of an immigration and nationality law practice. She holds a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Maryland.  She has previously served on the Board of Directors of a not-for-profit legal aid organization. Ms. Tadmor has five children, three currently at Oak Meadow and one who graduated from Oak Meadow and now attends Lawrence Academy. She has been an active volunteer and has served on the Parents' Association Board and is a Middle School room parent. Ms. Tadmor, speaks five languages and has been involved in school wide events including the Cultural Heritage Festival.

Darlene Vanstone serves as Clerk of the Board. Ms. Vanstone is a patent attorney with an emphasis on serving clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. During her tenure on the Board, Ms. Vanstone has served on the Audit and Risk Committee, Committee on Trustees, Development and Advancement Committee and the Head of School Search Committee.  Prior to joining the Board, Ms. Vanstone was the Chair of Oak Meadow’s Annual Fund. Ms. Vanstone’s son is an Upper Elementary student at Oak Meadow.
