Board Members 2011-2012
Barbara Brady has been an Oak Meadow parent since 2005, and has volunteered in a wide variety of activities at the School. She joined the Board of Trustees in 2009. Barbara was instrumental in the planning and production of Oak Meadow's Peace Garden. She is the Chair of the Facilities Committee this year. Barbara has a BSAD from the Architecture Department and a Minor in Economics from MIT. She is a founding partner of Devres Brady Architects in Istanbul, Turkey, has partnered with academia and the public sector to develop a number of pilot projects for sustainable development in Turkey. Barbara Brady is also an active civic volunteer focused on housing and development in her hometown of Harvard.
Buck Chintamani first joined Oak Meadow as a parent in 2002. He has a daughter in Lower Elementary and a daughter in Upper Elementary. Buck presently serves as Vice-President for Americas Partner Business Development at PTC. Buck has extensive professional experience in marketing and product management in the high tech field. He hold a degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Buck has volunteered at Oak Meadow in numerous capacities including his annual Nature's Classroom weeklong vacation and, most recently, has led the work of the Marketing Task Force.
John Collins is the father of two Oak Meadow students (Children's House and Lower Elementary). He serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee. He is the assistant controller at NaviSite, Inc. Mr. Collins earned a B.S. in Accounting from Babson College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and spent seven years auditing high technology companies before moving into private industry.
Beth Dube has been a parent at Oak Meadow since 2004. She has a son in Lower Elementary and a son in Upper Elementary. A former Vice President at Newbury Comics, Beth developed and implemented marketing and corporate strategy for this retail venture. Since her children have been at Oak Meadow, Beth has participated broadly in the life of the school as a member of the Annual Fund committee, library volunteer, and room parent. She has a clear understanding of Oak Meadow's mission and has demonstrated her commitment to the school through her regular presence and work here.
Barbara Eghan is an Associate Director of Admissions at Groton School, where she was appointed in 2007. Barbara is adept at school marketing. She has extensive experience in publications and is engaged in oversight of an admission office that processes in excess of 1000 applications annually. In addition to her admissions work there, she serves as a teacher of ninth-grade English, an on-campus dorm affiliate in for students in grades eight through twelve, and a member of the Diversity Committee. She is also a faculty leader within the "Choices" program, which addresses developmental, personal, social, and substance-related issues pertinent to tenth graders. Prior to working at Groton, Barbara graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in History & Literature.
Vivek Gupta has over fifteen years of industry experience working with a variety of technologies and industries. Vivek has worked in the Media, Financial Services, Biotechnology, Manufacturing, Energy and Consulting industries. His work has ranged from developer to CTO. Vivek is currently working as Web Developer at MathWorks in Natick. He received his BS in Math/Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University (1992) and his MS in Computer Science from Indiana University in Bloomington (1994) and is working on his Doctorate in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. Vivek spends his free time with his wife and daughter, taking photographs and working on the yearbook at Oak Meadow.
Tom Hotchkiss previously served for nine years on the Board, including several years as clerk and one year as Chair. After taking a year off, he returns in the second year of his current term. Mr. Hotchkiss has a son who will be graduating from Oak Meadow this year. His older son is an Oak Meadow alumnus (2006). Tom has BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from the University of Connecticut and has 25 years of business, technical, management and marketing experience in the technology industry.
Lori Locascio is an attorney who has a son in Upper Elementary. Ms. Locascio participated in all of the strategic visioning retreats and was the communications coordinator for her strategic visioning study group. She has experience as an officer with several alumni associations at MIT and Northeastern Law School. Ms. Locascio is an active volunteer in her son's classroom as well as in her church community.
Mike Princi serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees. He is the father of two Oak Meadow students and has been a member of the finance committee since 2008. Mike is the founder of a boutique business advisory firm. He earned an M.B.A. from The Johnson School at Cornell University and a B.S. in Operations Research from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Laura Stockfisch is an Oak Meadow parent of twins in Children's House. She is a Senior Industrial Hygienist and Project Manager with over 13 years experience providing a range of environmental consulting services to private and public sector clients. Ms. Stockfisch has served as room parent, library volunteer, new parent mentor, and was the communications coordinator in her strategic visioning study group. She has enjoyed volunteering her time in the classroom and at school wide events.
Rachel Tadmor is the founding partner of an immigration and nationality law practice and is on the Board of Directors of a not-for-profit legal assistance organization. Ms. Tadmor has four children at Oak Meadow - one in every program level this year. She has been an active volunteer who serves on the Parents' Association Board and is a Middle School room parent. Ms. Tadmor, who speaks five languages, has also helped with school wide events including the Cultural Heritage Festival.
Darlene Vanstone returns in her position as Clerk for the 2010-2011 school year. She is a patent attorney with many years of experience in all aspects of intellectual property law including twelve years of experience as in-house patent counsel to emerging and mid-tier pharmaceutical companies. She has served as a member of Oak Meadow’s Annual Fund Committee for the past several years, performing as Chair in 2007-08. Ms. Vanstone is the mother of a Lower Elementary Oak Meadow student.
