Board Members 2009-2010
 Sheri Bojanowski has been an Oak Meadow parent and has served in various volunteer roles at the school such as Room Parent, 30th Anniversary Gala Committee member, and Treasurer of the Parents’ Association. Her professional background is as a sales manager and program manager in the telecommunications industry.

Barbara Brady has been an Oak Meadow parent since 2005, and has volunteered in various capacities at the school. She has a BSAD from the Architecture Department and a Minor in Economics from MIT. Ms. Brady was a founding partner of Devres Brady Architects in Istanbul, Turkey, has partnered with academia and the public sector to develop a number of pilot projects for sustainable development in Turkey, and is a public servant focused on housing and development in her hometown of Harvard.

John Collins is the father of two Oak Meadow students (CH & LE). He serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee and he is the assistant controller at NaviSite, Inc. Mr. Collins earned a BS in Accounting from Babson College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and spent seven years auditing high technology companies before moving into private industry.

 Nijan Datar has been an Oak Meadow parent since 1999. He served as the Treasurer of the Board of Trustees from 2001 to 2007 and was the Chair during the 2007-2008 school year. He has a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and is an independent consultant in the electronics industry. Mr. Datar taught in the Graduate program at Northeastern University for five years. He has two children at Oak Meadow.

 Mike Dempsey is the Chair of the Board of Trustees for 2009-2010. Mr. Dempsey is the founder of a Lawrence based high-technology company called Radianse. He is also involved with a medical products incubator that is part of Massachusetts General Hospital. He is the father of two Oak Meadow alumni students (classes of 2007 and 2009). His third child is in her final year in Upper Elementary. Mr. Dempsey's wife, Laura, is Oak Meadow's Front Office Administrator.

 Robin Foley serves as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees. She is a fixed income portfolio manager at Fidelity Investments. She has two daughters at Oak Meadow and is, herself, a Montessori alumna. Mrs. Foley earned a BA in Economics from The University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance from Boston University. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

 Craig Gemmell is Associate Director of College Counseling and a Science teacher at Groton School. Mr. Gemmell has two boys, one of whom is an Oak Meadow Upper Elementary student. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Antioch University.

 Lyn Goldman has been an Oak Meadow parent for four years. She has two children: one starting in Lower Elementary and one in Upper Elementary. Mrs. Goldman has seven years business development and event planning experience within a management consulting firm. She holds a BA and is Elementary Ed. Certified. Mrs. Goldman served as Chair of the Board of Trustees in 2008-2009.

Tom Hotchkiss is excited to return to Oak Meadow's Board of Trustees after a year off. He previously served for 9 years on the board, including several years as clerk and 1 year as Chair. Mr. Hotchkiss 's younger son is in 7th grade at Oak Meadow. His older son graduated from Oak Meadow in 2006. Mr. Hotchkiss has BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from the University of Connecticut and has 25 years of business, technical, management and marketing experience in the technology industry.

Mike Princi is the father of two Oak Meadow students and has been a member of the finance committee since 2008. Mr. Princi is the founder of a boutique business advisory firm. He earned an M.B.A. from The Johnson School at Cornell University and a B.S. in Operations Research from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

 Molly Richardson has worked for twenty-one years at Lawrence Academy and presently serves as their Associate Director of Development in the Office of Alumni and Development. Ms. Richardson provides expertise in the field of independent school development and institutional advancement.

 Victoria Rizzi is the parent of a Middle School Oak Meadow student. She earned a BA in English literature in the United Kingdom and has a sales and marketing background working internationally within service-oriented, not-for-profit, and charitable organizations. Mrs. Rizzi is a past President of the Oak Meadow’s Parents' Association. In that role she was instrumental in building an active school community. She recently acquired US citizenship.

 Joann Stemmermann has been an educator for over twenty years with experience in out-of-school programming, higher education and non-profit work. She has a Master's Degree in Education degree and is currently pursuing a philosophy of education degree at the University of New Hampshire. Joann has been an Oak Meadow Parent for seven years. She has served on the Board for five years and is a past Board Chair.

 David Stettler has served as Head of School since 2005. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics from Princeton University and a Master’s Degree in Education Leadership from Columbia University Teachers College. As Head of School, he is an ex officio, non-voting member of the Board of Trustees and serves on all committees of the Board.

 Martha Torrence is Director of Toddler and Primary Programs at Cambridge Montessori School in Cambridge, MA. She previously led her own school in Pennsylvania, and was Principal of the Xavier University Montessori Lab School. Ms. Torrence has been a Montessori teacher trainer for 20 years, at CMTE/NY and Xavier University. She holds a B.A. in English and an M.ED. in Curriculum and Instruction, both from the Pennsylvania State University. She served on the board of the American Montessori Society for 11 years, and was Board Chair from 2004-2005.

Darlene Vanstone is a patent attorney with 19 years of experience in all aspects of intellectual property law including 12 years of experience as in-house patent counsel to emerging and mid-tier pharmaceutical companies. She has served as a member of Oak Meadow’s Annual Fund Committee for the past two years, performing as Chair in 2007-08. Darlene is the mother of a second year Lower Elementary Oak Meadow student.
