Oak Meadow Montessori School's Board of Trustees provides strategic leadership in support of our school's mission. The Board makes long-term decisions, provides financial management and communicates regularly with our Head of School, David Stettler, to ensure excellence in education for the current and future children of OMMS.

As the Head of School manages day-to-day activities, the Board's mission is to preserve and protect the long term health and well-being of the school. The Board has adopted, with input from the OMMS community, a five year strategic plan that sets the annual agenda for the board and determines the annual goals and objectives for the Head of School.

Standing Board Committees:

Finance Committee
Develops and monitors the annual budget and investments.

Audit Committee
Hires and monitors the independent auditor.

Development and Advancement Committee
Coordinates fundraising goals, strategies, and policies.

Facilities Committee
Develops the master plan for the school’s buildings and grounds.

Strategic Planning Committee
Oversees the Board's work in strategic planning and goal monitoring.

Committee on Trustees
Coordinates recruitment, nomination, and education of trustees and board officers.
