Parent
Beth Dube, Chair
Beth is in her seventh year as an Oak Meadow parent. Her older son is in Upper Elementary and her younger son is in Lower Elementary. Beth is a member of Oak Meadow’s Board of Trustees as well as a volunteer at the school. She has also become active over the past several years with fundraising while working on national and local political campaigns. When not shuttling her boys to sporting events and activities, Beth enjoys trail running, yoga, skiing, music and reading.
Gail Burati
The Burati family joined Oak Meadow in 2006. Her son is an Upper Elementary student, while her daughter is in Lower Elementary. Gail loves Oak Meadow and helps out wherever she can with library, appreciation lunches and school fairs. She feels lucky to have such a wonderful school community and is more than happy to help out with the Annual Fund this year! When not rushing to work at IBM Rational in Lexington or IBM Lotus in Littleton or to learn at Oak Meadow, the Burati family loves to swim, sail, bicycle, and ski.
Elana Chandler
Elana Chandler is in her fourth year as an Oak Meadow parent and is excited to finally have all three of her kids at the school. Her oldest daughter is in Lower Elementary and her two younger children are in Children’s House. Elana has volunteered in many ways at Oak Meadow, including room parent, co-chair of the Book Fair, Library Committee member and classroom volunteer. Elana is looking forward to expanding her involvement in the Oak Meadow community this year as she joins the Annual Fund Committee. In her free time, Elana has recently begun running and has set a personal goal to run 10 races in 2010 (she has already completed 8 of them).
Ying Chen
Ying Chen joined the Annual Fund Committee in 2008 and is happy to continue her service to the Oak Meadow community. The Chen family is in their fourth year at OMMS. Their son is in Lower Elementary. Ying and her husband Yonghao believe in the successful Montessori education offered at Oak Meadow and are fully committed to an active, all-round participation as parents in making our school stronger and better in the years to come. Ying works as a Finance professional in Burlington, MA and teaches Mandarin over the weekend in local Chinese language schools. A fan of classical music, she also enjoys reading, camping, skiing and skating.
Laura DuBois
Laura and her family joined Oak Meadow in 2009. Their son is in Children’s House and loves not being a new kid anymore. This is Laura's first year serving on the Annual Fund Committee. She looks forward to getting involved in more activities in the future. She works full time at International Data Corporation in Framingham and enjoys travelling and reading. |

Richelle Dupont
Richelle Dupont knew there was something special about Oak Meadow from the moment she brought her five year old daughter to an Open House in 2003. Her daughter is now in Middle School and her son is in Upper Elementary. Richelle herself is an Assistant Teacher in on of the Children’s House classrooms and is halfway through Montessori Teacher Certification. She and her husband Kevin O'Connor are committed donors to the Annual Fund because they want to ensure that Oak Meadow continues to be one of the most highly regarded Montessori schools in the northeast.
Beth W. Hodgkinson
Beth and her family have been members of the Oak Meadow community since 2008, and a Montessori family for eight years. Today, daughter Victoria is in the Upper Elementary program. This is Beth’s second year serving on the Annual Fund Committee while her husband, Bob. has chaperoned various Oak Meadow activities including Ski Club and Nature’s Classroom. The Hodgkinson’s fully embrace Montessori education and are very excited to be part of Oak Meadow’s culturally rich and diverse community. Beth serves as a public-relations consultant to technology companies in Massachusetts and Silicon Valley.
Denise McKenna
Denise joined Oak Meadow in 2009 as the Development Assistant and Events Coordinator. Her three children currently attend Oak Meadow in the UE, LE and CH programs. Denise has been an active parent at OMMS for the past two years: volunteering in the Library, working on the Parents’ Association Year End Carnival and filling in as a Substitute Teacher in Children’s House.
Prior to coming to Oak Meadow, Mrs. McKenna worked in Accounting as a Controller in the private sector for over 20 years. She earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration at the University of Arizona and completed post graduate work at the University of Phoenix.
