    Oak Meadow graduates gathered recently for our annual Alumni Night. It was a great opportunity for our alumni to re-connect with each other as well as our current Middle Schoolers. No matter how far our alumni go on their educational journeys, it's always wonderful to have them back!

  • Mae Kovacs ('13) Visits OMS

    OMS alum Mae Kovacs ('13) recently visited the Middle School at Oak Meadow to share her experiences as a volunteer puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. She talked to the 7th and 8th grade students about what it is like to be a puppy raiser and how guide dogs help the blind. The students loved hearing about her current puppy, Hobbs, and seeing him demonstrate some of his skills.

  • Sandy Wood ('04) Recognized by International Literacy Association

    OMS Alum Sandy Wood ('04), graduate of Vassar College ('13), has spent extensive time volunteering and living in the Jhamtse Gatsal community in the Eastern Himalayas. Currently on staff as an English teacher, Sandy was recognized by the International Literacy Association as one of 30 under-30 trailblazers striving to close the literacy gap.   • Jorie Van Nest ('13) Selected for Women's Chorus

    OMS Alum Jorie Van Nest ('13) was recently accepted into Boston's Handel & Haydn Society Young Women’s Chorus for the 2015-2016 season. This chorus is one of six sponsored by the H & H Society. Jorie will be working directly with professional singers and will perform in concerts in Boston over the coming year. Many congratulations to Jorie in the success of pursuing her talent.

  • Oak Meadow Graduates on Lawrence Academy Honor Roll

    Lawrence Academy of Groton has announced its honor roll for the spring 2015 trimester. Achieving High Honors are Oak Meadow alumni Jorie Van Nest ('14) and Craig Waldie ('11). And achieving Honors are Victoria Hodgkinson ('14) and Michaela Dempsey ('12). Congratulations!!

Our graduates will be attending the following colleges and universities: Brandeis University, Brown University, Colby College, Ithaca College, Smith College, St. Anselm College, UMass - Boston and University of Vermont.
